
Peach Cobbler
This old-fashioned peach cobbler is made from scratch with fresh, juicy peaches and a rich, buttery batter that rises up around the fruit as it bakes. - 12 Whole Peaches Organic
- 3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar Organic
- 1 Tbsp Cinnamon Organic
- 1 Tbsp Nutmeg Organic
- 2 Tbsp Vanilla Organic
- 1 Stick Butter Organic Grass-Fed Butter
- 2 Cups All Purpose Flour Organic
- 1 Cup Brown or Coconut Sugar Organic
- 1 Cup Granulated Sugar Organic
- 3 Tsp Baking Powder Organic
- 2 Tsp Himalayan Salt Organic
- 2 Tbsp Vanilla Paste Organic
- 1/4 Cup Milk Organic, Grass-Fed
- 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream Organic
- 2 Tsp Cinnamon Organic
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the stick of butter into a 9×13-inch baking dish and set it in the oven to melt as the oven preheats.
- In a saucepan, combine the sliced peaches, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla. Cook over medium heat until the peaches soften and the mixture reduces slightly, about 5–8 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, milk, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until a thick batter forms.
- Carefully remove the dish with the melted butter from the oven.
- Pour the batter evenly over the melted butter—do not stir.
- Spoon the peach mixture evenly on top of the batter—again, do not stir.
- Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool for at least 10 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm with whipped cream or ice cream!
